April 20 is the unofficial holiday of cannabis culture, and in 2027 it falls on a Tuesday. If you are planning to shop, celebrate or just avoid the rush, it helps to know what to expect. This guide covers how to plan for 4/20 in Jersey City: when to order, what is known about hours and deals, how pickup and delivery work on a busy day, and how to keep the day responsible. It is for adults 21+.

What 4/20 Is
The date is an informal cannabis holiday, celebrated on April 20 (4/20). Where it came from is a matter of folklore, and we won’t try to settle it. What matters for shoppers is simple: it tends to bring crowds and sales to cannabis retailers across the country.
How to Plan
- Two weeks out: check the deals page and our social channels for announcements.
- The weekend before: browse the menu and build a cart.
- Monday the 19th or earlier: pick up or schedule delivery, so you aren’t in a crowd.
- On the day: confirm hours by phone at (848) 500-9333 before you count on a late trip.
Pickup or Delivery
- Order-ahead pickup is the best way to skip a wait. See order-ahead pickup.
- Delivery has no minimum and is free over $70. Timing depends on your area and how busy the day is, so schedule early. See how delivery works and check the delivery page.
- Walking in works if you want to ask questions, but allow time.
