Veterans Day falls on Wednesday, November 11. If you served, thank you. If you are looking for a Jersey City dispensary that recognizes it, here is how CREAM’s veteran discount works: what it is, what to bring, how it applies, and how it fits with other savings. It is for adults 21+.
The Quick Answer
- The discount: 10% off for veterans, on all orders, with valid ID, according to our deals page.
- It is a standing discount, available every day. It is not a one-day Veterans Day promotion.
- It applies to delivery too, not just in store.
- Discounts don’t stack. The single largest discount applies to your order.
What the Discount Is
CREAM lists a standing veteran discount of 10% on all orders, with valid ID. It is always on, and no code is needed. Because it is a standing discount, you don’t have to wait for a holiday. It is available on any day the store is open, and on delivery orders as well.
What to Bring
- A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID showing you are 21 or older. Everyone needs this to buy cannabis.
- Proof of veteran status, if the team asks for it. Our deals page says only “with valid ID,” so call (848) 500-9333 or ask at the counter before your first visit to confirm what the team needs to see, and how delivery customers should handle it.
In Store and on Delivery
The veteran discount is listed for all orders, which includes delivery. Ask the team how to apply it to a delivery order, since the process may differ from the counter. Delivery is free over $70 and $5 under, with no minimum order. See how weed delivery works.
How It Fits With Other Discounts
- 07302 local discount (15%): in store only. If you live in 07302 and shop in store, the local discount is larger, so it is the one that applies. The two don’t combine.
- Medical patient discount: for active NJ medical cardholders. Only the largest applies.
- CREAM Rewards: you earn 5% back in points. See our rewards guide.

Veterans Day Itself
Holiday hours can vary, and we haven’t announced any special Veterans Day schedule or promotion. Our posted hours are Monday–Thursday 9 AM–10 PM, and delivery runs until 9:30 PM. Check the deals page for what is running, and call to confirm holiday hours before you go.
Many people have the day off, so Downtown may be busier than usual, and street parking meters run until 8 PM. See how to get to CREAM. Ordering ahead can save time.
Tips for Veterans Shopping at CREAM
- Join CREAM Rewards at checkout, since points never expire.
- Order ahead for pickup. See our pickup guide.
- Ask the team about the best option for you if you qualify for more than one discount.
- Check the deals page for delivery-only drops.
Medical Cannabis Program
The state’s medical cannabis program is separate, and CREAM does not issue medical cards or recommendations. If you are a patient, see our medical patient guide. If you have health questions, talk to a healthcare provider, including the VA if you use it. Cannabis remains illegal under federal law, which can affect veterans in some situations, so ask your provider about how it may apply to your care.
Responsible Use
Cannabis is for adults 21 and older. Keep your purchase sealed until you are home, store it away from children and pets, and never drive after using cannabis.
