Weekends are when many people actually have time to shop, and Sunday is when a lot of stores close early or not open at all. CREAM keeps its normal long hours all weekend, including Sunday, and delivery runs too. This guide covers the weekend schedule, how Sunday parking works, how to plan a weekend order, and what to know about holidays. It is for adults 21+.
The Quick Answer
- Store hours, Friday–Sunday: 9 AM–11 PM, including Sunday.
- Delivery hours, Friday–Sunday: 9 AM–10:30 PM. You can order in that window or schedule for later.
- Sunday parking: street parking is free on Sundays, and free after 8 PM on other days.
- Holidays: hours may vary, so check before you go.
The Full Weekly Schedule
- Monday–Thursday: store 9 AM–10 PM, delivery 9 AM–9:30 PM.
- Friday–Sunday: store 9 AM–11 PM, delivery 9 AM–10:30 PM.
So the weekend adds an extra hour at the end of the day, for both the store and delivery. If you are planning a late Friday or Saturday run, our late-night guide explains how to time it.
Sunday at CREAM
Sunday follows the weekend schedule: open at 9 AM, close at 11 PM. That makes it a good day for a calm visit, and parking is easier too. Street parking on 1st Street and nearby blocks is free on Sundays, so you don’t need to watch a meter. See how to get to CREAM for parking and transit.
Getting Here on the Weekend
- PATH: the Newark–World Trade Center line, which stops at Grove Street, runs around the clock. Service patterns can change on weekends, so check the PATH schedule or app before you leave.
- Light rail: the nearest stops are Marin Boulevard and Newport. Check the schedule.
- Citi Bike: a station at Newark Avenue and Marin Boulevard is three blocks away.
- Driving: free street parking on Sundays and after 8 PM. Check posted signs on your block.
Weekend Delivery
Delivery covers 22 North Jersey cities, with no minimum order. It is free over $70 and $5 under, and payment is by Pay By Bank. Estimated times depend on where you live, from roughly 30–70 minutes in the Hudson County core to longer for towns farther out. These are estimates, and traffic and order volume change them. Check your address on the delivery page.
On weekends, order earlier in the day if you can, and don’t leave it until the last hour. See how weed delivery works.
Planning a Weekend Order
- Check the deals page before you order: cream.online/specials. Delivery-only drops appear there.
- Build your cart from the menu.
- Choose pickup or delivery. See our guide to order-ahead pickup.
- Allow a buffer for traffic and weekend crowds.
- Have your ID ready. A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID showing you are 21 or older.
Busy Times
We don’t publish busy times, and any store can be busier at some points than others. If you want a calmer visit, ordering ahead and arriving earlier in the day gives you the most flexibility. A typical first visit takes about 10 to 15 minutes. See our first-visit guide.
Holidays
Holiday hours may vary. Before a holiday weekend, check the site or call (848) 500-9333 to confirm the schedule, and order early. Don’t assume the regular hours apply.
A Sample Weekend Plan
- Friday afternoon: check the deals page and build a cart.
- Friday evening: pick up after work, or have it delivered.
- Saturday: use what you bought at home, in a place where it is allowed.
- Sunday: if you need more, free parking and a long day make for an easy trip.
Discounts
Discounts apply on weekends the same as any day: 15% for 07302 locals in store, 10% for veterans, a discount for NJ medical patients with an active card, and 5% back in rewards. Only the single largest discount applies. See our discount guide.
Responsible Use
Weekends are when plans change, so plan a ride, and never drive after using cannabis. Keep your purchase sealed until you are home, and store it away from children and pets.
A Weekend Checklist
- Check the hours for the day you plan to shop, and for holidays.
- Decide between pickup and delivery.
- Look at the deals page for delivery-only drops.
- Check the PATH or light rail schedule if you are travelling.
