Bergen and Passaic counties are the farthest edge of CREAM’s delivery area, and also where delivery makes the most sense: the drive to Downtown Jersey City from Paterson, Clifton, Hackensack or Teaneck is roughly 20–25 minutes each way, with tolls and parking on top. If you live there, you can have an order brought to you instead. This guide explains how delivery works for Bergen and Passaic counties: which towns are covered, what to expect on timing, and how to avoid the common mistakes that make an order take longer. It is for adults 21+.

- Longer windows. Our estimates run roughly 50–82 minutes for the eastern Bergen towns and 70–90 minutes for Passaic County. Treat them as estimates, since traffic and volume vary.

How Long Will It Take?
The honest answer is “longer than Hudson County.” A few things set the clock:
- Distance. The farther the address, the longer the drive.
- Traffic. Our Paterson page points to Route 21 and I-80 as the usual routes, and either can slow down at rush hour.
- Order volume. Friday and weekend evenings are busier.
- Your instructions. A clear address and entry notes keep the handoff quick.

Paterson, Clifton and Passaic
Paterson is about 25 minutes from the store, by Route 19 to Route 21 south or I-80 east to the NJ Turnpike. Delivery covers the city, including Downtown, South Paterson, the Eastside and the Great Falls area. Clifton and Passaic are also in the delivery area; Passaic is about 22 minutes away and Clifton about 25.

Hackensack and Teaneck
Both are about 25 minutes from the store. They are busy suburban downtowns, with apartment buildings, houses and business districts. For apartments, include the unit and buzzer; for houses, mention anything that makes yours hard to find, like a rear entrance.
Fort Lee and Englewood
Fort Lee is one of the closest Bergen towns, at roughly 18 minutes, and Englewood about 22. Fort Lee has many high-rise buildings with lobby desks; tell the front desk a delivery is coming and be ready to come down, since the driver needs to check your ID in person.
Getting the Most From a Long-Distance Order
- Combine what you need into one order. Over $70 means free delivery, and it saves the effort of reordering.
- Order earlier in the day. It leaves room for the long drive and for any delay.
- Use scheduled delivery when you know your plans.
- Double-check the address, including the unit number and zip code.
- Answer your phone. A missed call from the driver can slow things down.
Delivery or the Drive?
For Bergen and Passaic, delivery usually wins on convenience. A round trip to Jersey City can mean 40–50 minutes in the car plus parking. Receiving Your Order
- Have a valid, unexpired government-issued ID.
- The person receiving the order must be 21 or older.
- You sign for it.
- Keep it sealed until you are settled at home, and store it away from children and pets.

A Sample Order, Start to Finish
- Afternoon: You build a cart on the menu and bring it over $70 for free delivery.
- At checkout: You confirm the address, add the unit and entry notes, and pay by bank.
- Evening: You watch the estimate and keep your phone on.
- At the door: You show your ID, sign, and take the sealed order inside.
What Can Slow an Order Down
- A wrong or incomplete address. Double-check the unit number, the zip code and the spelling of the street.
- A missed call. The driver may call if they can’t find the entrance.
- No valid ID. An expired or missing ID means the order can’t be handed over.
- Heavy traffic. You can’t control this one, so leave room.
If You Need It Fast
If time matters more than anything else, a long-distance delivery isn’t the best fit. For a same-hour need, the closest option is a trip to the store, with order-ahead pickup to keep the visit short. For anything that isn’t urgent, delivery saves the most effort.
