Essex and Union counties are a longer reach than the towns along the Hudson, but CREAM still delivers there: Newark and Elizabeth, plus East Orange, Bloomfield, Montclair, Belleville and Linden. If you live in one of them, the question is whether delivery from Downtown Jersey City beats a drive to the store, and how to time your order so it arrives when you want it. - Expect a longer window than Hudson County. Our delivery estimates run roughly 60–88 minutes for Essex County and 68–88 minutes for Union County. Traffic and order volume change that.

Newark
Newark is about 15 minutes from the store outside rush hour, via the Pulaski Skyway or I-280. Our Newark page says delivery covers Newark, including Downtown, the Ironbound, the North Ward, Weequahic and the West Ward. Delivery is usually within a couple of hours of order confirmation, depending on traffic on the Skyway and I-280.
If you’d rather come in, PATH runs from Newark Penn Station to Journal Square in roughly 10 minutes, then it is a short connection to the Grove Street area. Check the PATH schedule first, since service patterns change.
Elizabeth and Linden
Elizabeth is about 20 minutes away. Our Elizabeth page describes the NJ Turnpike north as the main route, with Routes 1 & 9 north as the slower alternative at rush hour. Delivery covers neighborhoods like Peterstown, Elizabethport, Midtown and North Elizabeth. Linden is about 15 minutes from the store.
Turnpike traffic is the biggest variable. If you order on a Friday evening, give yourself more time than the estimate alone suggests.
East Orange, Bloomfield, Montclair and Belleville
These towns are on the western edge of our service area. Delivery is the same-day service described above, and your estimate shows at checkout. A few tips:
- Order earlier in the day when you can. The farther out the address, the more a late-evening cutoff matters.
- Put a working phone number on the order. The driver may need to reach you.
- Check campuses. Delivery isn’t available to college campuses, and Montclair has one.

Because there is no minimum, a small order is possible, but combining what you need into one order over $70 saves the fee.
How to Time Your Order
- Order early. The later in the evening, the closer you get to the 9:30 or 10:30 PM end of delivery.
- Allow for traffic. Rush hour on the Turnpike, the Skyway and I-280 can stretch a window.
- Consider scheduling. If you know you will want something tomorrow, schedule it for a time you will be home.
- Stay reachable. Keep your phone on and the volume up.

When the Driver Arrives
- Have your valid, unexpired government-issued ID ready.
- Someone 21 or older must receive the order.
- You sign for the delivery.
- Keep it sealed until you are home, away from children and pets.
Responsible Use
Public consumption is prohibited in New Jersey. Never drive after using cannabis.
A Sample Order, Start to Finish
- 6:00 PM: You decide you want something delivered tonight. You open the menu and build a cart.
- 6:10 PM: You check out with Pay By Bank and add your unit and buzzer notes.
- Evening: The estimate at checkout gives you a window. You keep your phone nearby.
- At the door: You show your ID, sign, and bring the sealed order inside.
The time of day is the biggest thing you control. An order placed at 6 PM has room to spare before the 9:30 PM weeknight cutoff. An order placed at 9 PM does not.

- Check your address. A wrong unit number or zip code is the most common cause of a delay.
